Slow broadband
My xbox is getting max 9mbps. I checked my speed online and it says 200mbps. I am paying for 500, the app says im getting 500. Can somebody tell me what is going on? I am paying for this broadband and cant believe im getting less than half of what i am paying for.

@skrdarex How is the xbox connected to the router and how is the device you are using connected to the router. The speed shown in the app is the speed to the router.

The Xbox is connected wirelessly. But shouldn't matter as I get 40mbps when hotspotted to my mobile.
I also checked the speed on my mobile. So if my mobile is getting 200mbps how could the Xbox only be getting such a small amount. The difference is crazy.

Sorry I misread. But yeah I checked online to see what speed I was getting and it's 200mbps. I can't see why I'm only getting half of what I'm paying for.

@skrdarex Wi-Fi is dependent on the layout of each property and is not a magic bullet working through walls and floors keeping the same sped throughout a property. Do you have any boosters in the property.
Which router do you have from Sky from the link below and what package do you have from Sky like broadband boost of Sky broadband max?
