wifi dropping out/ slow and visual and audio not in sync on tv a lot

good afternoon we have recently signed up with sky and we are having some issues oftern the visual and audio is out of sync with each other on our tv, seems to either be out from the start or works itself out over time. and seems slow to download bits and drops signal often hope this is enough to help? kind regards Luke
