Since last Saturday evening, I've noticed a massive drop in my broadband speed and nothing has changed within the household.
i was watching ITVX and the screen actually froze on me.
I have been a loyal customer with Sky for over 20 years and I feel they tweak the speeds as and when they wish. Which is generally after 2200 hours when there's not much usage by others but this is when mine is worst.
I've reset the router and did not make a difference.
im aware that this question has probably been asked over a 10000 times. Apologies for repeating .

Find out more@Simoods you can test your connection by running the full connection test in the My Sky app or website which will givecthe current speed to your hub, the hidtory forvthe past couple of weeks and can even tell you if your wifi connections look good. If the test finds a fault that Openreach will fix then it will offer to book an engineer for you.
If it doesnt and you would like advice from forum members post your hub's connection stats Find your Sky Broadband router Stats

Hi Thank you for the message.
Ive run a broadband test from the app, but I don't see any results for the last month as you say in your reply. Am I missing something?
is this only applicanle to the online broadband test?
Is it possible to reduce wi fi signal to particular devices in the router settings? I.e if I want my tv to have more wi fi than Alexa for example?

With more sophisticated and expensive third party routers, yes (it's a feature called Quality of Service) but ISP hardware typically cannot do that.
Note it's internet bandwidth which is prioritised, not 'wifi'.
