Sloe broadband using WiFi

The broadband speed to our hub is great - over 100Mbp - but when I run a broadband speed test on my phone which is connected to the Sky router via WiFi, we get much lower speeds e.g. 16Mbs or 20Mbs. Does this mean we need a different router? It's quite frustrating having gone to the effort to get FTTP and Ultrafast if we then can't actually use it!

@JMP2 Highly unlikely, you need to supply more detail, type of router, phone etc, Also may be a phone issue, router is well capable of your 100mbs speed, on ethernet or wireless devices.

Ultrafast/Gigafast is designed to provide many devices at once with UHD streaming speeds. It is not designed to give a single client device such as a phone with 100s of mbps. If you want to use this full speed you should use an ethernet cable or put in your own WiFi 6 router.
