Sky will generally only supply booster boxes for any room attached to the main building

How is electricity supplied to the home office ? Via the house electrics or a seperate ring mains

Sky does not provide booster hardware proactively, and not for external buildings in any case.  Realistically 25 metres through two walls would be optimistic anyway.

Re: Sky wifi booster HELP

We have a spur off of a link in the conservatory. I may be able to use a power link connection. I have been with BT for five years and their Wi-Fi disc do the job great.

The BT Wi-Fi disc I'm using at the moment work perfect ? I would expect Sky to supply the same standard of service. Or have I made the wrong choice in moving to SKY ?

BT currently has better wireless hardware than Sky (and charges more for it).

I am sure the BT Disk service T&Cs also state that it will only cover the main household, not outbuildings. If you bought the disks yourself out of pocket then thats different.

As others have said, Sky's boost service only covers your main building & the WiFi hardware is not as good as the BT Disks.

Re: Sky wifi booster HELP

I agree but BT were more than happy to let me have 3 wifi disc in the house. I will just have to wait and see if the wifi booster they have sent me will reach the office.

Sky only provides them on loan.  You'lll find assorted models on a well-known auction site, although their legitimacy for listing there is questionable.
