Sky using Virgin cabling

Hello all,

I have been a customer with Virgin Media forever because I have been stuck using their fibre optic cabling due to an underground fault with the normal line that Sky uses. It would cost thousands to repair (dig up the driveway).

Now I read that Sky and Virgin have reached a deal that Sky uses Virgin infrastructure for broadband.

Has anyone got any experience with this? I would be extremely keen on switching ASAP.

Thanks in advance.

@Eamonn6  As far as I'm aware that is only available in Ireland, are you in Ireland?

Re: Sky using Virgin cabling

Just to follow up on this and to help others. I called to a Sky store today at the local shopping centre and they do indeed carry their broadband through Virgin infrastructure since Halloween last year.
