@Peterorvill  You need to use the MySky app on your mobile device, it may not appear straight away though.

@Peterorvill  it's because you control it through the mysky app!  https://www.sky.com/help/home/broadband/sky-broadband-equipment/sky-hub/sky-max-hub-settings/article...

@Peterorvill

You need to be more specific. @GD1 is assuming you can't see the router's web interface but maybe you mean the PC can't see the router's SSID? Or maybe you mean something else entirely?

Sorry but this doesn't help in any way. What exactly are you trying to "see"?

@Peterorvill  have you ensured WiFi is switched on on your PC. Goto Settings >>> Network & internet >>> WiFi ON then underneath click show available networks and it should show your Sky hub name.

If its an older pc the security can be changed to to wpa3-t or even wpa2 but you said you have tried these in mysky app ?

Using ethernet cable ATM .....that works...but can't pick up the WiFi part ....and I'm not having a 10 meter cable running through the house ...lol

Re: Sky max hub not showing on pc

@Peterorvill

Have you ever set the PC's WiFi adapter to prefer the 5GHz band? The SR213/Max makes use of the higher DFS frequencies on the 5GHz band & you adapter may not be able to use them if it's an older model.

Re: Sky max hub not showing on pc

My WiFi card is

ASUS PCE-N15 11n Wireless LAN PCI-E

Driver version 2013.12.331.2016

And this is the latest driver and up to date for the card ..

I think I need a more upto date card

Internet ok when wired
