Sky max hub and sky booster 4

Good afternoon/Evening,

I recently upgraded my sky broadband and got sent out the max hub, all fitted all working fine and the speeds are what I wanted.

Previously I had a sky booster in the middle of the house so the wifi could reach my back (gaming) room with decent speeds, all worked fine, as expected.

But I have tried setting up the booster to the new max hub and no devices seem to be connecting to the booster. All green lights etc so all "looks" OK.

No devices in the back room are picking up the extender and the thing iv noticed is there is a separate network for the booster/extender called "skyse210",

I'm usually quite good with stuff like this but iv looked around and and can't seem to find my exact issue,

Unless from what I have read, these sky boosters are not compatible with sky max hubs.

So I suppose I'm just after clarification to whether that it is a combability issue or I'm missing something else.

Thanks in advance

The Max Hub uses an entirely different booster model referred to as a 'pod'

That would be under the terms of the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement.

Note that if Sky loaned you the current booster, that has to be returned to them along with the previous Hub.
