Hi,I didn't realise I had to return the old sky hub when I had a new one. I know longer have the old one

Returning your old Sky equipment is part of the T&Cs you agree to when taking out a contract. Its likely Sky will hold you liable for any charges.
I have escalated your post to chat with a Sky rep, lookout for a chat bubble on the forum and engage with Sky there, explain whats happened and they might let you off.

No,unfortunately they are going to charge me £53. I've never returned one before.

Cancellation of non return fees are entirely at Skys discretion.
