Sky Max Hub issues - no settings in MySky app, cannot find wifi settings. Nightmare setup.
I was a little bit excited about getting this upgraded wifi. That soon disappeared when I realised it wasn't going to work.
It seems like the only way to get help with this issue is to log the problem here and get a link for assistance from an expert. So here is my post to request help to connect my sky max hub to the internet. I will have to revert to the old router for now but I would appreciate help as soon as you can.
Thinking I may need to send this thing back. Disappointing that these problems exist and there's no help available when I need it.

Hello, yes I do still need assistance but as I had to revert our setup back to get the internet I'll try again another evening. I wasn't expecting there to be issues to setup the equipment and wonder why I need an expert, along with so many others? It's a pain to be honest.

I'm confused how this works. Does Sky co tact me within the next 24hours and I can get support whilst not at home or am I expected to be back on the setup of the sky max hub when I get the message?

The nature of the issue would define whether or not it's necessary to be near the relevant equipment: typically it helps to be within reach because that's often part of the diagnostic script.

There are no manual wireless channel settings on Sky Max, especially concerning the wireless channels it uses it is all automatic.

Can I get help for it this afternoon?
It's very hard to organise when I see the reply, to be o line instantly to resolve this.
If it's not possible today then I'll just return the equipment.
As mentioned previously, I'm not able to just jump online when a sky expert leaves a message on a forum. I've not seen any alerts that I've had a reply yet so I'll go to my profile to see if I can set that up.
Today will be the only day this week I can try and get through the setup. It's not an ideal support offering. Unless I can have a phonecall with sky this afternoon to get through this.

@omgaaadYoYo You have had two chances to speak with the messaging team. If you are that in a great need of help then as @jamesn123 said to call Sky and get it sorted out.
The messaging on this forum is not instant and can take time. So if you really need that help then call Sky.

Same here - SKY MAX HUB is a total load of crap with no way to enter the REAL system setup. You can change the Wi-Fi password easily enough from the desktop keyboard but you must (MUST) download the "MySky App to you smart phone (feel sorry for those without a smart phone) in order to change the Admin password. There is NO WAY to run an FTP service but you can open port 21 but FTP is not listed on the properties section. I think I might get a 3rd party Router when I find the setup details for the SKY MAX service. The speed is good but the modem is RUBBISH without access to the real setup functions.
I have reverted to my old SR203 router as NONE of my printers would work with SKY MAX Hub.
If anyone from SKY reads this unlock the firmware of this SR213-02UK moden then we might be able to use it correctly instead of buying 3rd party routers or piggy-backing a decent one to the output of the max hub. SKY FAILED THIS TIME

I finally got it working and had to uninstall the sky app and install it again for it to display the correct product settings options. The connection drop-outs did not stop. Sky Q mini box just would not connect so had to revert back to old router and I'll return sky max hub. Also, had issues with other devices for which I lowered to wpa2 but it didn't resolve it.
Still a complete nightmare. So bad I have up and I don't usually let problem like this remain unsolved.
