Hi, new customer here.
I'm a bit concerned that my Sky Hub hasn't arrived or been posted out to me as of yet, as my switchover date is now only 6 days away.
Is this normal ?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Boolee Normally equipment like routers are sent a few days before activation. If it gets to the day before and you have had nothing from Sky then come back to the community forum and let us know.

I'm in same position. I work from home and rely on internet. The hub hasn't been despatched and my existing provider has already told me they will terminate my line on the day scheduled, unless I tell them 2 days before. I was told the router would be sent out once the engineer visit was booked but that hasn't happened.

Sky are selling you a domestic connection and send hubs out by Royal Mail so a precise delivery cannot be guaranteed.. Engineers hit snags when running lines and further work is needed or simply appointments are missed. There literally dozens of things that can go wrong they normally dont but the risk you can be leftvwithout connection is real..
If switching from one service using Openreach to another your old service should remain connected assuming you used the One Stop Switching process and haven't cancelled the old service yourself.
