Sky Hub 6 struggle to connect to Sky Q
For reasons out of my control, I need to setup my router in an upstairs office. I got the new Sky Hub 6 and connected 10+ other devices to it with ease.
Then I had to connect it to my Sky Q box which was a real pain. The WPS button method wouldn't connect, had to do it manually in the end.
i just don't understand;
1) Why of all the devices I have - laptops, ring door bell, Alexa - the hardest thing to do is connect the Sky router to a Sky TV box
2) Why does the WPS button that you are advised to press and hold to connect to your Sky TV also now double up as a reset button
Why does the router struggle to connect to the TV box? And is the product design on this thing beyond idiotic, or am I missing something with the WPS to connect to SkyQ and also being a reset?!

The 'Q mesh' is now nearly a decade old, and the Max Hub is the first model for two generations (following the Q Hub and Sky Broadband Hub) which doesn't incorporate its particular and rather eccentric implementation using proprietary AirTies technology.
