Hi All
I've had Sky Glass fitted, and now having Gigga fast broadband fitted. It was scheduled for 19 June. Then I got a text to say unfortunately we were unable to start your sky broadband and talk installation on 19 June. To reschedule call xxxxxxx
I then had a text right after to say Openreach will complete the set up in your home and will be there on the day. Then today a text to say Sky Broadband install visit was not completed (weird wording as 19 June is in the future!). Call us on xxxxxx to confirm that you have filled in the permission to work form for Open reach.
The annoying thing is, and I know Sky have an absolutely appalling reputation for this, is the crap customer services they provide. The phone goes to a very poor automated voice, which is not smart enough to understand what you're saying. I've no idea what is going on.
Any ideas? I didn't realise how bad Sky had become.....

Unfortunately nothing in the notes that would explain any delay
1 stage install , overhead feed no anticipated issues indicate a straight forward install but any such delays tend to be down to openreach not the isp

Not sure what 'chande' is meant to be but as we're customers here we can't cancel your appointment. Quickest way is for you to call Sky. If the appointment is for tomorrow you are likely be charged £25 for cancellation at short notice.

@NMacKenzie1
Not via the forum. You're not contacting Sky Customer Services by posting on the forum. We are mainly customers trying to help other customers.
Cancelling an appointment at such short notice will likely result in a £25 charge as per this link
