Woke up this morning to my Wife and Kid letting me know the internet is not working.
As you can imagine this is a major issue and a lot of grumpyness
So I checked and the hub is completely dead, no lights nothing, not sure if its the hub or the power supply.
Luckily I still have an old Sky Hub which I have managed to re-commision and configure to connect back to my internal network.... Whoop happy faces again.
Couple of questions really
Thanks
Mark

guess I am ok to use the old hub as it is working, not sure if this will be detected and disconnected ?
You own that Hub, so it's entirely legitimate to use it: there's no detection and disconnection
Will sky send me a new Sky Broadband Hub ?
Yes, the Broadband Hub model is on loan and swapped out for free as required
How do I get one without spending hours on the phone.
Unfortunately only by phoning because their script will have a diagnostic pathway to follow
