Currently trying to get my new ASUS TUF-AX3000 V2 working with my sky broadband, but I keep getting the "Network cable disconnected error"
All the advice I can find seems to be around getting it working with fibre, any ideas what settings I need to use for Broadband?
And yes, the cable IS connected...

You would need to either use the Sky hub to connect to the line and useca Double NAT set up or by a VDSL modem fortunately you can set up a cheap TP-Link modem router in bridge mode which is what most people do.

For clarity, it's preferable to refer to part-fibre (FTTC) and full-fibre (FTTP)

Both are types of broadband, and both involve fibre optic cable.

Connected where?
Putting an RJ11 from a phone socket into that WAN ethernet port will (kind-of) fit, but definitely isn't going to work.
