Seesion reset mentioned by engineer
Hi,
An engineer was booked today to check my Internet speed and when he was trying to solve the problem he mentioned that the line had a restriction which he sorted but if after running the test myself the speed doesn't go up I have to contact you back to ask for a session reset on your side as my speed is much lower at 23 when it supposed to be 55 or above.
Could you please help me from your end?
Also, I don't know how long this restriction has been on place meaning I have been charged for what I haven't received.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Re: Seesion reset mentioned by engineer
@Urbana Firstly you are not talking to Sky and the restriction you are talking about is your speed that might be down to the DLM that takes the speed on the line down so it is stable and can be used. Normally after fault you might see the speed increase as the rotuer drops the connection to give you a better speed.
If you have found this solution helpful please tick this as the answer.

If you have a black sky hub could you post your statistics as shown below
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband-Talk/How-to-read-your-Sky-Hub-statistics/ba-p/3645346
Any time openreachare called out they do a dlm reset which should rectify the speed over the next 2 weeks
Sky Stream , Sky Superfast, SR203 router, Tp link td w9970 + Asus RT AX58U (backup), Xbox Series X, google home mini, LG 55 inch uhd tv, with Dolbyvision, samsung a5 2017 and samsung s21
If I get it right mark as answered
If I get it wrong humour me
If I say something you like give a thumbs up
