Still no change in speed. Could someone confirm, that if my connection is online, there is no problem with the settings on my end?

@ttonks993 without seeing the connection stats it is impossible to be sure. Personally I doubt the DLM theory as the system should not be that sensitive so unless you have been dropping the line about 10 times a day it shouldn't cause a halving in speeds. Apparently you can get a stats report on the connection from a Draytek modem as explained here https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-dsl-status-more
It is worth reconnecting the Sky hub and looking at its equivelant report as explained here Sky Hub statistics
