Red light on BT box

I've phoned up and was told to reset my Sky router but it has not solved the problem.

@HarryS9 have a look at the video below see what you think, you would need to get sky to organise anything that has to done, and would not think that it would be free in the slightest, batteries can be bought from the likes off B&M, amazon etc no doubt if you feel up to it.

@HarryS9 What RED light is on for the BT box that you call it, there are names below or above the red light!

Re: Red light on BT box

The red light is the fault light. I will fit the Sky wi fi repeater however there will still be the red fault light on the Openreach box.

Re: Red light on BT box

@HarryS9 There are a few different versions of the OR ONT modem, but they all have various lights and depending on what you have it may or may not be a major fault condition, easiest if you just post and attach a picture off your unit if you wish the Forum to say what you expect! If it is the one with the word Fault, bottom of the box middle light, then it is more than likely just the BBU batteries that are done, and they do not stop the unit from working as long as the powersupply is good! Batteries can be changed out, replaced and you will no longer get that Red fault light up!

Re: Red light on BT box

Thanks for that. Is it a Sky job to replace the battery?
