Recent switch to sky max wifi (2 weeks ago) and now have continual problems with wifi on all devices

I recently switched to skymax wifi (on advice from sky). Now my wireless devices continually drop out all around the house. And also my skyQ mini will no longer connect to main sky Q box. Never had these problems before - should I re-install my old (black) sky hub?
