We have been having problems with our Internet connection for a few weeks on certain devices - mainly Xbox One S. I have reset the router back to factory default, tried turning off my wireless switches (Sky engineer suggestion) and separated the 2.4GHz from 5GHz but am getting the same problem. I was initially having a DHCP problem where it was assigning the same address to more than one device but the reset seems to have stopped that.
We appear to have a good connection speed with no problems known in the area but some devices are not able to connect to anything outside of the network. Does anyone have any ideas please?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@RammsteinFS Sounds like IP addressing issues. if you have assigned a fixed IP,address to any device make sure you have reserved the address on the Hub's LAN IP setup page. You should never have DHCP issues if the only device issuing IP addresses is the hub. The best set up unless you know what you are doing is to leave the network set up on all devices to automatic so the Hub's DHCP server can do its job properly.

The router is now crashing several times a day and all the lights bar the power light go out. Sky said they can see from their end that my router is fine?
