WIFI KEEPS GOING DOWN

Sky WiFi keeps stopping then restarts. Is this an external fault? Had to book an engineer. There are some roadworks going on outside in Cheriton which might have something to do with the disruption.

@Noddy44 the ligts in the hub will tell you if it is an external issue see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start

If your hub us losing the connection log onto the connection test in the My Sky app and click to run it dont rely on the info it gives intially. If the test detects a line issue it should offer to book an engineer to check the line if it doesnt give Sky a call.

Spent over an hour trying to resolve the issue. According to Sky Technical it a security issue. Sky have set a high level not allowing WiFi, especially on Apple devices. Not happy when Sky say wall to wall fibre.

Unfortunately that doesn't really make sense: it's Apple which has its devices complain about wireless encryption lower than WPA3.
