Poor ping after switching to sky. No issue with previous provider
I have just recently switched to sky as the package was cheaper with "faster" download and upload, although I'm finding my ping is constantly 60-80ms rather than the 15-20ms I was previously on.
this is really annoying and has to be an issue with the sky equipment as I am full fibre. Any suggestions? Don't really want to be stuck with this.

Re: Poor ping after switching to sky. No issue with previous provider
@Paulp99 how are the devices you are using to measure the latency networked? If its over wifi it is most likely its an issue with the wifi in your home rather than the connection as such. If you can test on a device connected by ethernet as that would eliminate thst possibility.
No isp gurantees latency but in my experience Sky full fibre returns figures around 7ms. If you want to test the connection to the hub the very useful Thinkbroadband.com Broadband Quality Monitor is worth setting up see https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality
