Poor WiFi signal in the garden/summer house

WiFi in our summer house (soon to be replaced by a cabin with much thicker walls) is generally poor and regularly drops out. Would a booster help in those circumstances and if so, where should it be placed? Appreciate that the issue is outside of the walls of the house but would Sky provide one free? Current package is Superfast 35 with broadband boost
