So i've been with sky for over 10 years and Ping has been perfectly low consistenlty. Now overnight its literally trippled and i havent chanced anything? I have restarted the router and the problem still remains. I use a wired connection and i have over 70 mbps download spead which is plenty. Can anyone help?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@FCBstef no ISP guarantee latency unfortunately but where are you measuring the ping to? It is possible Sky are doing work on the network and using a different routing and it will go back to normal if it happened overnight.
It would help if you posted some test data but make sure you obscure any personal data. A trace route to a known server would be useful.
