Our 15 year old daughters phone used to be recognised on our My Sky account and we could disable as and when accordingly. We have just tried to disable it and it isn't listed anymore but still has Wi-Fi. We've tried everything we can think of to try and get it back on the recognised list but we're not having any luck. We can't understand why it's disappeared. Is it possible that our clever 15 year old has managed to bypass the parental security? If so, how to we reverse it?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Wallace66 not 100% certain this applies but did you use Sky's Broadband Buddy to control your daughters access? I ask because Sky stopped offering that some years ago and for quite a while did not offer parental controls apart from Broadband Shield which filters all traffic through the hub and doesnt control by device.
They new have a new set of parental controls in their Sky WiFi Max bundle which can turn on and off the WiFi for any device but doesn't stop the use of mobile data. Controlling a 15 year olds access to the internet is a challenge rather like playing Whack-a-mole but less fun.
