Patchy broadband connection

I have been experiencing patchy broadband connection all week. 
I can't do video calls, the signal keeps dropping out, slow page loading, online forms are impossible as they keep having to reload.  
I have tested the signal and connection and it says it is fine but it isn't consistent. 
any thoughts?
