@JG7979 Sky use a form of PPOE but authenticate connections differently. All UK lines support DHCPv4 Option61 with a string in the form
anything@skydsl|anything which only some router manufacturers support TP-Link notably dont while Asus does. There is an alternative which is DHCPvv6 PD which works in 100% of City Fibre lines and around 80% of Openreach lines and is suppported by most routers but check before buying.
Ireland is different.
