Hi @mae-3 - I seem to be having a similar issue but not getting the same positive outcome using this approach. Can you help, please?
I'm trying to conenct an Orbi Router and Satellite system. This used to work ok when BT were the ISP, but having switched to Sky this week, I've lost the setup.
BT's system used to want a PPoE approach. Sky isn't accepting the 'anything@skydsl' credentials that have been suggested on this thread.
If I try to enter a static IP, it asks for a subnet mask, gateway and DNS numbers. Nothing I enter seems to work.
I'm in the UK should that help with settings.
Thanks in advance.

In the UK Sky uses DHCP Option 61 or/and DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation (PD) to authenticate with Sky's broadband exchange. Only in Ireland does Sky use PPPoE. The credentials are 'anything@skydsl|anything' without the single quotes in the DHCP Option 61 field.

Please stop giving incorrect advice..
I'm in the uk using Sky full fiber 'ONT' and use PPPoE.
Im sure most users will be fine using DHCP Option 61 but that doesn't work for everyone.

I guess he must have been mistaken. My connection has been faultless for nearly 18 months.
I don't wonder why I'm just happy it works...

You must have a crossed line or something because Sky doesn't use PPPoE in the UK to authenticate with its domestic customer broadband exchanges.

Apparently they use pppoe only on their business broadband 👍

Hi,
I can select
Secondary connection: Custom
Is that correct?
3 different VLAN ID'S
Internet VLAN
VoIP VLAN
IPTV VLAN
They each have priority attached.
I'm unsure what information to put in them.

Sorry secondary connection is none.
It's special ISP settings (IPTV/VLAN)
ISP Profile: Custom
