Outage in Dublin 6

Hi all, 

Just wondering if anyone else in Dublin 6 broadband is not working. Virgin media are around working on existing fibre so I have a suspicion they knocked ours off. 

I have done the "fixes" listed by sky. Restarted my router a few times etc. 

I just want to report it in case other people are experiencing the same issue. It's a real pain when working from home home.

Dublin 12 here. It's been out for me all morning. I've seen some other Dublin people reporting issues on twitter, but no official statement there.

@Meabh2   First thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:

https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If there isn't try running the line test here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Did all that thank you. Got on to sky. The Citywest outage has affected many more areas than Citywest

Hi Fiona ,

Was just on to sky and figured I'd let you know. It's the Citywest outage affecting us. Not sure about d12 but the expected fixing time is approx 4pm today! Fingers crossed!

Newcastle Dublin no sky broadband

The sky internet service is down in my apartment in Carrickmines Dublin 18. I'm wondering if this is a widespread issue or something I can fix

@Aoc1 There may jus be an all over Dublin area wide issue, others have reported outage!
