Our internet signal keeps dropping out.

We keep losing internet temporarily. The internet light on the hub goes orange and we lose signal. It happens several times a day.

@Simon6060 Can you please run the broadband test, this can be done either via the Sky app on mobile data or use the link below.
https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-broadband-diagnostic/sky-broadband-diagnostic

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.

The broadband test shows everything is fine. But, of course, I can't run the broadband test at the point when the internet signal drops out. So I don't know what to do.

I run the broadband test from the Sky app, which doesn't work offline when the internet is down.

I have been experiencing the same issue recently. Internet connection drops several times a day. The broadband light turns orange and then after a minute or so back to green, reconnects. 😞

I'm having he same problem for the last few days and it is becoming very frustrating now. Sky broadband test no good. It detects an error then tries to fix it and by then the light is back green and says problem fixed. Its not fixing the underlining issue though.

@Simon6060  You could ring them tonight they are still open and get this looked into for you.

I called Sky this evening g and explained this happens often. They did a check on their system of my router over the last month and said it looks faulty. I have an engineer coming tomorrow with a replacement. Like I said to Sky I don't pay over £80 a month for it not to work. The employee was extremely helpful best one I've spoken to in years.

Its happening to me too. Same issue with intermittent, fairly regular outages. It is not reliable.
