I have recently joined SkY from BT. The speed of the Sky Broadband match the speed of BT reasonably well, but the signal strength does not.
Hub is in the same spot, with BT the broadband strength on the ring door bell camera was 75% minimum. With Sky there are occasions where I can't connect to it because it's such poor connection.
is there a way to improve the strength? I was told it would match BT as according to the freshly out of nappies sky advisor the SkY hub is far superior than the BT one I had
I've never had to use boosters with plus net or BT. And location of hubs never change nor has anything around where they located.
Advise would be great. Sky just fob me off

That's a bit of a stretch. The Q Hub is distinctly worse, the Broadband Hub roughly comparable and the Max Hub rather better specified than the BT Smart Hub 2.

Hi, I'm having very similar problems. Just joined sky on 500Mb fibre with the standard sky hub. Speed is fine in the room where the hub is but vs my old 250Mb gfast with BT Smart Hub 2 the range is awful. Hub in the same place. I'm now wondering what the best plan is......upgrade to the better sky hub? Boosters?

@TimmyBGood what would you suggest? Thanks

I use a mixture of the BT Smart Hub 2, ethernet cable, a BT Whole Home disk on the end of an ethernet run, and a separate wireless access point on ethernet. There's no Sky Broadband in this exchange area so I've no hands-on experience with Sky routers and boosters.
