No internet

Red los light on ONT box, chat bot is not helping how else can I contact sky

I have had no Internet for 2 days either. chat bot just sends me to broadband checker,which says its good at 107 maps. checking on other speed checkers it's actually 1.25 mbps. I'm not getting anything without having mobile data turned on

A red LOS light means Loss of Signal, but it could be also faulty equipment, depending on how fast it is flashing & what the PON light is doing.

 

PON - Off LOS - Off - The ONT is disabled

PON - Slow Flash - LOS - Slow Flash - Faulty ONT

PON - Off - LOS - Slow Flash - Fibre disconnected or damaged, check connection

PON Fast Flash - LOS Fast Flash - ONT is unrecognized (not registered)

PON On - LOS Slow - ONT update has failed

PON Off - LOS Fast Flash - ONT being updated, whould only last a few mins.

I have PON off, and LOS solid red no flashing.

I guess sky will need to book me an engineer, not ideal waiting when I WFH.
