I have had this same problem as well as a lot of people in the community nearby.
have a green power and wifi light but orange phone and nothing for internet.

No internet for 7 hours now, all I get is there is an outage in my area?

Sounds like a network outage that even though openreach may know about it you would still be advised to contact sky to report your own issue. Out of interest whats the first half of your postcode?

Sky alone seems to be having issues in your area. As such contact sky on 150 from your landline or
zero three three three seven five nine one zero one eight from any other phone to report it
