No internet connection keeps timing out.

Have WiFi signal but no internet connection, keeps timing out or unable to connect to remote servers.

engineer says nothing wrong, new router delivered problem still persists.

Have tried resetting my pc through ipconfig and dns flush.

Had pc back to builder and rebuilt.

Still no joy.

Any ideas.

@CJBDAB Run the service checker and the diagnostic test, try to avoid multiple post's also.

I'm having the same issue , my Internet just keeps dropping out , it's been going on for a couple of weeks now but the service checker keeps telling me everything is working.

@Karen_64 Then run the diagnostic test, or call sky and have them do it for you.

We have tried the service checker and it says everything is fine! But it's not

the engineer has come out and replaced the router but it's still not working

The service checker looks for faults in your area so try running the line test here to see if any faults are found:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.
