No broadband

Last night I decided to leave sky because my internet has gone up to £42 a month for 75mbps and I can get 150 with vodaphone  for £26 a month. Change over date it Sep 20th, but funnily enough, this morning my sky internet has stopped working even though they've taken another £42 out this morning. It's impossible to contact sky, just wondering if anyone got a contact phone number for these crooks ??

Where approx are you located? There were some outages last night and some have followed through into today.

I phoned 150 this morning from my house phone and got through straight away. There is a problem with broadband today and is under investigation.

Ok thank you. Just seemed a coincidence since telling them last night I was leaving then my internet goes off. Have done 4or5 internet checks today and it keeps saying there is no problem, all green lights on the router but no internet

AH okay the problem seems to be Hemel Hempstead area so probably wouldnt affect you.

Did you try rebooting your router since last night?
Are there any issues showing on your service checker?

Did you order a switch through Vodafone alone, or also give notice to Sky yourself?

Just vodaphone, they said they contact the old supplier on my behalf. Then 30 mins later got email from sky saying sorry your leaving us. Confirmed the changeover date and that was it. All emails last night.
Then this morning no internet 🤦‍♂️

Re booted several times, went onto 4g to contact sky and they checked internet and said there doesn't seem to be a problem. 
All through their site, you can't actually speak to anyone unfortunately

I'm also in Oswestry and have had no broadband all day and even the land line isn't working.
