No Internet, Service Checker is down?

I'm guessing there are issues at sky, even though Sky's Service Checker says there's no outage in my area? (Gloucestershire).
I'm doing this remotely for my parent's, they said the internet has been down since midday, comfirmed by https://downdetector.co.uk/status/sky/ . But it looks like Sky's own Service Checker isn't working either...

@AstonFamily the checker is clearly showing an issue with the connection which is likely to be a line fault. That the second test fails is probably because the tester cannot talk to the target hub which is pretty obvious when you think about it if the line is down. Sky's messaging could be a lot more helpful but the next step if the connection is down is for the account holder to call Sky and report the fault so it can be fixed.

The down detector sites are a useful check but given Sky have over 6 million brosdbsnd customers it is an absolute certainty some will have lost connection at any time. Given most faults are in the local Openreach network an issue in say Wigan wont affect people in York you need localise the search even then a outsge affecting the west of Wigan may not affect the East.
