Recently received new router but since installing I haven't been able to view my Bosch smart outdoor camera. Is anyone available to discuss correct settings in router so this will work correctly. Many thanks

How is the camera connected?
Did you do a full reset on the camera when you replaced the router?
Does it use a static IP?
If its connected via ethernet is the cable Cat5e or above and fully wired with all 4 pairs?
When you replaced the router how did you reconnect the camera?

I did full reset it connects via Wi-Fi on 2.4 ghz. Bosch told me to try turning 5ghz off & tweak different settings in router. But unable to see anything in hub what resembles what they told me to look at

This is what they asked me to do Now please check the settings in the user interface of your router. The following settings must be made:
-5GHz frequency band must be deactivated
-MAC address filter must be deactivated
-DHCP is active
-WPA2 is active as the security standard and not, for example, WPA2+3.
(for Fritzbox) With more recent Fritzboxes a function called PMF, "Protected Management Frames", this should be deactivated.
- Deactivate VPN or antivirus programmes on the smartphone
Once you have changed the security settings, be sure to save the settings and restart the router and the smartphone.
Now reset the camera to the factory settings. To do this, briefly disconnect the camera from the power supply and switch it on again. Now please wait until it no longer lights up red.

DHCP is active on your Sky hub.
To split the WiFi Bands
So to split the two channels you need to go to your router config page which can be found by typing 192.168.0.1 into your web browser. The default username and password is admin & sky.
- Select wireless from the navigation bar and scroll down a little and untick the 'Synchronise 2.4GHz and 5GHz settings'
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and hit apply.
- Once the page reloads you need to go to the 5GHz wireless settings page on the sub navigation bar below where you click wireless before
- In the 5GHz section you want to go to the box called 'Name (SSID)' and add something like 5g to the end of the current name
- Scroll down and hit apply
- Then on any wireless device you should now see two networks. One network will be the same name as usual and will be 2.4GHz band and the other will be the usual name with 5G on the end (Or whatever you typed). Connect any 5GHz capable device to the 5GHz network and see if it works correctly. The WiFi password should be the same if you haven't changed it.

My cameras all worked perfectly until we had a new Sky Box. I don't understand anything about IT but the chap who put them in initially and does everything for us to do with WIfi said that he can't make program changes on the router for the security cameras. We are in our 70's and have absolutely no idea what to do now, having paid quite a bit for the cameras to be installed a couple of years ago. Is the Sky Box faulty and how do we know if it is.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@ConsoonThe Sky box is working as it should do, it looks like you might have to split the Wi-Fi frequencies, the guide in the link below will help you with this process.

Also could you tell us which router is now installed in your property, so that when it comes to you needing to log into the router you know what information it needs. Could you tell us from the link below.
