I have recently moved to a new build and I am trying to sign up to sky broadband.
when I do the check your area it just says technical issue and then starts the process again with the same result technical issue.
I have had a BT engineer out and he says I can go with any provider so do not have to stick with BT. How can I sort this as I want all my package with sky

Unfortunately there's typically a lag time before databases are updated with new addresses: until that happens automated systems which depend on postcode lookup tend to fail with varying degrees of gracefulness.
