New router - not all devices will connect

Installed a new router this evening. Phone and two ipads connected quickly. One ipad and central heating control won't connect. Any suggestions please?

Re: New router - not all devices will connect

@RAR351  That could be down to a few reasons!

What new router are you now using? Possibly the new white hub? So maybe drop security from wpa3 > wpa2

What router did it replace?

What CH system controller?

Otherwise any info given is just guesswork.

Re: New router - not all devices will connect

Having exactly the same problem with our sky max hub after we had to switch the power off yesterday. Hive would not connect sorted eventually but it still will not find our Blink Sync Module 2 now and it's driving me mad. Never experienced any issues with EE in these devices. Two smart TVs that used.to.connect on EE don't recognise sky Max Hub either. Dropped security to WPA2 but hasn't helped. Been with Sky Broadband for one month and now regretting this decision.

Re: New router - not all devices will connect

New router is Sky max, old one is Sky hub.

Connected the old one back up last night and it's great, All systems working.

Wonder if it's the lead connecting router to mains socket?

Socket has 2 ports, one is smaller ethernet type, other is usual phone connection port.

Old hub connected in ethernet hub, new one said to use phone type connector. Also, instructions said to wait til white light goes solid, after 30 minutes still not solid, but some appliances connected. Should I use the Broadband 2 connector with the max, which goes into the ether net port?
