Connected without internet

We have had connection without internet since  27th December, we have tried all the suggested steps and nothing has worked.  It has been a nightmare since both me and my partner work from home. We need to get this sorted as soon as possible. We have already contacted sky for a technician but haven't received a confirmed date yet.
