New broadband upgrade

I have just got my sky broadband upgraded to full fibre. The engineer said it should all be back up and running in an hour. That was 3 hours ago. When I go to put my new connection password on my phone and puck it says something went wrong and try again.

Re: New broadband upgrade

Oh my word. I'm so stupid. I got my lowercase L mixed up for uppercase i.  I can't believe I have been doing that from 3pm. To be fair the engineer did the same thing.

Thank you for your help

Re: New broadband upgrade

@cookiepoo Why are you having to enter details, it is just a cable switch on the upgrade to Fibre unless you had an old sky hub that was replaced as part off your upgrade.

Re: New broadband upgrade

My old hub is under the stairs and they have fitted a white box behind my TV in living room wall and attached the new hub to that if you know what I mean

Re: New broadband upgrade

@cookiepoo Yes i know what you mean, you had a Full Fibre fttp service installed, OR fitted a new modem called a ONT ((Optical Network Terminal)) to which your new Sky Broadband Hub, on it's lan port 4 (WAN) connection has a cable from it plugged directly into that ONT.

Either 3 Green lights on the Sky Hub, 4 if you have a Digital Landline with them.

3 Green lights on the small ONT, power, los and the lan light flashing green when sending/receiving data for all and too all.

If your NEW system is up and running then the OLD one can be switched off and remain off for ever....

Re: New broadband upgrade

@cookiepoo Your not the first to have done it, the text is so small and hard to read, best advice write it down on a piece off paper, make it as large as you want and always use that when you need to add a device!
