Re: New booster orange light

  • @Andrew+Bennett It would be good if you could say which type of booster that you have supplied by sky, but if you have an orange led, normally means that the signal from the router is weak to the booster. The booster is normally set at a position halfway between router and were you require the wifi to reach  move booster closer to the router position and see if led goes green. Search help on sky.com for booster led status, sorry don't have the link at present to help you.

Re: New booster orange light

Hello The model number is SE210A He tried all positions in the house and said this was the best. I've tried all sky fixes but no joy.

Re: New booster orange light

@Andrew+Bennett You have the router to match would be SR203, if you place booster say 10 foot away, does the led stay orange,  and which led is it, you have the newer version of the booster.

Yes that's my router. It's the middle orange light (connected). It is ten feet away and no change still orange light.

Re: New booster orange light

@Andrew+Bennett I would report your booster to sky, orange led normally is weak signal, so you would get poor speeds if anything connects to the booster wifi signal, see if you can get it replaced, especially if your wifi is good when connected to the router. Call 150 from your landline.
