Neighbour denied access to fibre box

Hi All

Hoping for some guidance. 

Neighbour on terraced housing street will not allow us to connect to the fibre box on their front wall on house. Ongoing 2 years. House is rented from county council. Neighbour other side has also not been allowed. Reason they haven't had any type of concessions like free Internet etc. For allowing the box.

 Tried official complaint with Sky got nowhere they wouldn't send out network engineer to take box off Neighbour s wall and pop onto my wall. Anyone been through this and got anywhere tks

@Pepper1231 Take a picture off the box and post it up to the Forum, Normally each home get's it's own connection point, and if it is a CBT that has been installed central point then that is an OR Openreach issue connecting everyone up as required! As advised by @Daniel0210 Just the box no home detail!

Sorry may have posted in a UK forum. I am actually based in ROI. Its definitely the fibre box - central box as you say that we need to connect outside cable to. Understand why Sky are unable to help. Was advised I need an actual network engineer rather than the Sky installation engineer. Sky Advisors on the phone have looked into it but they can't do anything about it. @Pepper1231 Just the heads up, i would have NO clue to the regs required for a ROI Fibre connection of any type or even who does it etc, Have you tried Eir telecomms to see if they can pass any information to you!

Thanks so much. You've been really helpful with information. Will contact Eir telecom and hopefully they can help or direct me. Tks again.
