Our internet came back at 12:36 and has since been down again between 13:07 and 13:11.
At least the Sky service checker acknowledges there is an outage in our area this time.

Mine is back but there's lots of fluctuation in speed. This is causing SkyStream to keep stopping and starting.

I have automation to run internet connectivity checksevery 10 seconds and they are detecting small outages every few minutes which is enough to stop stuff like streaming that relies on a fast stable internet connection from working properly.
I rang Sky and they confirmed BT/Openreach were aware but didn't know what the problem was yet. It looks very similar to the capacity issues they had in the Chesterfield exchange back in October.

Mine went off 3 times over night and this included an IP address change. There servers are really struggling. Let's hope they get it stable by Christmas week.

More outages in Chesterfield again today, 10:07 to 10:08 and again between 18:17 and 18:23.

My Internet went off approx 18.20 in Newbold.
Rebooted twice
Nothing on "Test my broadband" page on Sky, it says everything is OK.
Nothing on Down detector

Mine also went off this evening twice. I'm with TalkTalk so it's an Openreach issue again.

Hi,
Our internet has been down since around 6pm today. We live in Wingerworth, Chesterfield, and there seems to be an outage in the general area. Does anyone have any information about this please? Thanks, James

Do you mean WiFi or internet. I ask because it is internal to your property issue if it is WiFi. You may be able to fix it if it is just WiFi. Else we are dependent on BT. It's okay rolling out fibre to the property (fttp) but not if the infrastructure isr there to handle it.
BT need to pause more fibre installations until they can fix the backend to handle he load.
