My hub keeps dropping.

I have been having issues with my connection for the past few months. I know work was being done in the area so thought this may be the reason. Each time I have done a check on my equipment it's saying all is working. However the hub is constantly flashing with the orange light in the middle. It then connects for a while but then drops again. This is causing me a lot of issues when watching tv or using WiFi. I pay for a service which I have not been receiving for a while now. Please sort issues out.

If you’re not already aware this is a customer helps customer forum and you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services on here.


If you haven’t done it already use the below link to check to see if there are any outages nearby https://www.sky.com/servicechecker
(This should determine if there's an identified fault affecting multiple households)

If there aren't any then try running the line test here
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

Once completed, if it reports back that all is good click on 'broadband' to run an updated test. If you get amber or red you need to follow the on-screen instructions.

If the service checker is still not telling you that Sky are aware you may need to call them to report it (dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline).

Any Openreach visit that’s required is likely to be delayed due to the disruption from the recent storms.

Thanks I was aware after posting this. And will need to contact sky as the test say all is OK even when the hub is trying to reset and takes at least 30 min to finely get up and running.
