@Seanlong24 you are not talking to Sky by posting in this forum. The reason why you got limited response was you ggave no details so forum members who afe customers like yourself could not advise.

Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.

Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.

We'll need at lease some basic details of the problem, i.e. is it speed, connectivity etc?

Re: My WiFi is awful

I am writing to formally complain about the poor quality and performance of the internet service at my residence, which is consistently failing to meet the standards outlined in my service agreement.

On 20/9/25 I conducted a speed test to diagnose ongoing issues with buffering, lag, and general network instability. The results of the test are far below an acceptable level and indicate a significant problem with the service being provided. The key metrics from the test are as follows:

  • Download Speed: 47.7 Mbps
  • Upload Speed: 8.35 Mbps
  • Ping (Latency): 389 ms

While the download and upload speeds are a concern, the most critical issue is the extremely high latency, or "ping," of 389 ms. This level of latency makes it impossible to conduct essential activities such as video conferencing for work, online gaming, and live streaming without severe lag, freezing, and dropped connections. The service is simply not fit for its intended purpose.

@Seanlong24

There's still not enough information.

What internet connection do you have, what are your guarenteed speeds, have you tried a speed test via an Ethernet cable?
