Switching to sky broadband but sky cancelled engineer visit and I am now worried if I will be withouT broadband as they will be cancelling previous broadband provider

@Board2 if you used the One Touch switching process that should not happen as Sky will tell uyour current provider about the delay. This is only an issue if the customer has cancelled their existing service thmselves.
Delays in providing a new full fibre service can happen as the order is placed with the networl provider who could be Openreach or City Fbre who are aware that the job requires extra work. This is one of the main reasond Ofcom brought in the One Touch switching process.

@Board2 If you contacted sky only then they will NOT be cancelling anybody until your install is complete!
