I dont have a date yet for our upcoming move but wanted to know if when I do move, do I have to remove the sky dish and take it with me to the new property?

That wasn't a requirement when we moved, they checked on the system if the property had ever had Sky in the past - for us there was a dish in place and they were prepared to change it if needed (which wasn't the case)

No, the dish and dish cable stays where it is. Sky will install a dish at the new address if there isn't one already.
Note that the lead time for booking a Home Move is three weeks, and be aware that moves around Christmas and New Year can have additional delays before service is established.

Re: Moving home
@FionaReardon That is what sky will be doing, all you can do is keep on top off it all nothing else!
Did you do the home move with sky well in advance off moving as an existing customer, or is this just all a new contract with them, it's not clear from your posting?

Re: Moving home
@FionaReardon So it's like a repeat off the first time for failure to complete it all, sky can supply whatever you are requesting at the address location now? Not sure what the move involved for you as a like for like connection type etc, so sky need to sort out why it has not all happened!

Re: Moving home
@FionaReardon What is your package from sky, there are lot's of new rules with the FTTC/FTTP is copper available, then if fibre ie FF also it trumps copper, so NO new connection will be established, a full installation has to be done etc etc etc!!!
If you want to check here is at least the current OR supplied below, just use the address, if FF already and FF in the home then no need to check. Also CF CityFibre has to be considered now if in that loop!
