Loss of connection and no wifi

So last 2 days we have had trouble with the WiFi keep cutting out so eventually I have got on the phone to someone he made me delete some if my programs I was at 75% had to delete under 50% then I had to delete the recycling bin forever. There was things I wanted to watch not no more. As was told over 50% Can mess things up so why do you have a hard drive that can record up to 100%, then I had to take a picture or the router to where it is near the TV I explained it was put there by the engineer who fitted it 4 years ago so now told there's to many things on the table it needs to sit on the table by its self and I need to tidy the wires up which are only related to sky then it will work.have you heard anything so stupid and guess what it's not working

@Smiler3 atually thst advice is pretty spot on. The hub produces a Wifi signal which like light can be blocked by objects near it and things like cordless phones can cause interference. All wifi routers need to be out in the open and as high as you can get them in the  room so the signal is not blocked by radiators - wifi signals are totally blocked by metal.

With hard discs the storeage can get fragmented if you do not clear off files. Sky HD+ and Sky Q are pretty good at sorting themselves but getting in the habit of removing things you dont want to watch again is sensible as the system will be more reliable. Anything you definitely want to keep must be marked as such or the system will over write it usually just before you want to watch it.

A lot of technical advice sounds weird but makes sense when you understand the science behind it.😀
