i have a powerline set up for both my kids bedrooms to get wired internet to there PCs. Everyday at 5.30 both PCs loose connection to the internet. This has been happening for weeks. The only fix is to disconnect the powerline adapter at the hub. Disconnect both adapters in there rooms and if that doesn't work which it doesn't 50% of the time I have to reboot the router.
All lights on the router stay green and any device connected via WiFi still works.
If I run the BBand test everything comes back green.
I've tried different powerlines and different Ethernet cables.
I'm at a loss as to what's locking up the ethernet.

Hi. I have not totally ruled out that it could be a fault with the powerline adapters. Or even my home wiring. But I have tried different ones and also new Ethernet cables. I've tried the adapters in different power sockets and different Ethernet sockets in the hub. The fault still happened everyday at 5.30. Also the only 100% fix is to fully disconnect and reboot the router. If it was a powerline fault I'd expect it to happen more randomly rather than the same time everyday.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYour issue is certainly something on your electrical loop thats stopping the adapters talking to each other. I have an almost identical issue that occurs a few times per month where they stop talking to each other and only disconnecting the router side adapter fixes the problem.
